I dont deny that its not easy to forget the past especially the bitter part. It takes time. Sometimes we need someone to forget the past but when that someone is no longer there we tend to live in the memories again. We cant hide the feelings because it just there and we knew that. It happened to me.
Life isnt like a digital camera. Capture-review-delete. Life is like a manual camera with a film inside. Capture and store. Things that happened cant be undo. It will just be there and it will leave a mark. Like the photos on the film. When it happened to us, we tend to blame here and there without realizing that we are not gratefull with what you have. And there we started saying, "if only I..." or "kalaulah aku...".
How long and how hard we could face it all? Firman Allah di dalam Al-Quran :
"Dan bersabarlah kamu terhadap apa yang menimpa kamu. Sesungguhnya ia merupakan perkara yang memerlukan keazaman (yang kuat)" (Surah Luqman 31: 17)
"Dan berikanlah khabar gembira kepada orang-orang yang bersabar. Iaitu mereka yang apabila ditimpa musibah mereka berkata 'Sesungguhnya kita ini adalah kepunyaan Allah dan kepadaNya jualah kita kembali'. Mereka itulah yang (Allah berikan) kurniaan (dan pengampunan) serta rahmat ke atas mereka, dan mereka itulah orang-orang yang beroleh petunjuk." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2: 155-157)
Isnt that enough to make us think again? We are all belong to Allah and to Him we will soon be returned.
