It was Saturday when ayah proposed the idea to go to Kuala Kubu Dam and Pertak river.Im not sure if Pertak river is still exist because the development of the dam had tenggelamkan the Pertak River. We went to Sungai Pertak years ago :) SPLASH is a company who is responsible of the dam management. There's a showroom / info centre open for public. You can get a few informations on the history of KKB, the dam and so on. I think that this is a good effort to tell people about it.
It took about 5-6 times repeated action before I successfully captured this photo. It was funny when daddy turned to be mcm orang muda.haha.He said, "along cepat2 ambik gambar ayah terjun!". I was like..."okeee...alamak xsempat, one more time ayah!"
How to get here? Its very easy. Once you touched KKB town then there'll be a signboard, a very clear and easy to catch.probably 1 hour from KL (If there's no traffic jam lah).
The Chiling Falls are probably the most beautiful waterfalls of Selangor. They can be reached after an adventurous trek along the river, which has to be crossed many times. To reach the trail head, you take the road from Kuala Kubu Baru to the Gap. After passing the Selangor Dam, you cross the bridge on the Chiling river. Just after this bridge you can park you car. Follow the road for about 100 meter, the trail head is clearly indicated. Soon you will arrive an open field beside the river, with some buildings and a campsite, maintained by the Fisheries department.
